PORT KEMBLA WRECK.
TOTAL LOSS NOW FEARED. VESSEL'S BACK MAY BE BROKEN. Sun. LONDON. July 29. The former optimism regarding the prospects of salvaging the steamer Port Kembla, which is ashore at San Salvador, no longer exists. The latest report states that the vessel is now regarded as a constructive total loss, as she shows signs of her back being broken.
