PAKURANGA HUNT.

ENTRIES TO CLOSE MONDAY. At the recent session of the New Zealand Racing Conference an alteration was made in the rule governing the races for hunter 3. Under the old rule the certificate of qualification had to be obtained by the date of acceptance. This was altered to time of starting, and the same comes into force as from August 1. In order that owners should have the advantage of the new rule, the Pakuranga Hunt Committee decided to postpone the date for the closing of entries (originally fixed for yesterday at 5 p.m.) to Monday next, at 10 a.m. Entries will bo received bv Mr. W. S. Spenco at 97, Shortland Street.
