MOTOR GOES OVER BANK.
ONE PASSENGER INJURED. A FRACTURED COLLARBONE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. J TAIHAPE. Tuesday. When starting on the mail run yesterday the wheels of a lorry, driven by Mr. H. Lamb, of Mataroa, collapsed and precipitated the vehicle over a bank. Fortunately the drop was a short one. In addition to Mr. Lamb the vehicle was occupied by Messrs. Devlin and O'ConnelL The driver escaped unscathed, but Mr. Devlin sustained a fractured collarbone and Mr. O'Connell was severely shaken and bruised. «
