ELIMINATION OF BRITAIN. DEFEAT BY FRENCHMEN. Reuter. PARIS, Juiy 25. In the Davis Cup contest, France v. Britain, the former won the rubber today. The doubles resulted in the defeat of Crole Rees and Kingsley by Borotra and Brugnon, 6—2, 6—o, 6—3. France had already won the first two singles matches. The Frenchmen have therefore annexed the final in the European zone and will meet the winners of the American zone series. .'■ #
