RAILWAY ACCIDENT.

BRISBANE EXPRESS WRECK. FAULTS IN THE TRACK. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, July 26. The Departmental Board which was appointed to inquire into the Aberdeen railway accident of June 11 has issued its report. This states that the derailment of the Brisbane express was caused by oscillation due to irregularities on the track. The most important of these was a kink which coincided' with the maximum" difference in the levels of the rails. Such a conditioa could have been produced by fast traffic, possibly by one train. This would have developed critical conditions for the following train. The line was reported to be in good condition before the smash. The viad nA> was sound and both engines were in good running oraer.
