IMPERIAL CONFERENCE

QUESTION OF POSTPONEMENT REQUEST MADE BY CANADA. (Received 10 p.m.) Bun. LONDON. July 22. At the request of Canada the Government has- asked the other' Dominions whether they would agree to postpone the Imperial Conference for a fortnight. The Parliamentary correspondent of the Daily Telegraph, in giving the news of Canada's request, adds that if the other Dominions agree, October 19 will be fixed as the date of the opening of the conference. The change will in no way inconvenience the British Government.
