GANGER FATALLY INJURED.
TRAIN OVERTAKES JIGGER. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ROTORT7A. Wednesday. It is reported that a railway ganger, named Thomas, stationed at Arahiwi, near Mamaku, was run into by the 3.55 p.m. train from Rotorua to-day and died before the arrival of the doctor from Rutaruru. It is believed that he was riding a jiggei when ha was overtaken by the train.
