IMMIGRANTS BY TAINUI.
TOTAL OF 108 FOR AUCKLAND. [by telegraph.—press association.] WELLINGTON. Sunday. The Tainui, which arrived from London late on Friday night, brought 358 assisted immigrants, comprising 145 men, 122 women and 91 children. Included in the draft were 21 public school boys, 19 of them-being brought out under the Taranaki Chamber of Commerce scheme. There were 35 domestics. A total of 108 immigrants go to Auckland. 104 to Wellington, 35 to Lyttelton and 38 to Port Chalmers.
