The following telegram was received bv the Alburnia Gold Mining Company yesterday from the mine manager:—Selected from ore broken in the rist 151b. picked stone, also 51b. from shots fired in the I'aeo going hillwanl on the foot.wall portion of reef.

The reef is lying very flat and is wider than the rise with no hnngingwall allowing. The haTi2iiu;wu.ll is compesed o r strong hands of quart-/; and stringers and is very hard. The and foohvall portions of (bo reef are enrryinc a fair amount of antimony and iron pyrites in the solid stone. This reef has a decidedly improved appearance.
