I VON DALE HERD PRICES. [P.Y TEI.KOP.ATir.—PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] NEW PLYMOUTH, Monday. .Jersey week in Taranaki opened fo-dav with the sale of the Ivondale herd at Waitnra. Fifty-eight pedigrees sold realised a total of £3961, (lie average being .£6B. Thirty-two cows averaged £74. 19 heifers £64, and seven bulls £4B.
The top price was 510 guineas for a cow. Others brought from 300 guineas downward.
Buyers were present from all over NewZealand Sales of high-class cattle will be held throughout the week.
