"ART UNIONS."
Sir, —I' think it's about time a halt was called in connection with these art unions and raffles. I relate my experience recently. On April 2 last I sent a registered letter containing £1 to one R. Malcolm, Oamaru, for a book of tickets in the Grand National raffle. When tho drawing was postponed I wrote to the secretary of the Grand National raffle on April 23, telling him I had received no tickets or acknowledment and asking for the return of the £l. That letter fared the same fate as the first—unanswered, M. W. KißKP.vrracK. Matainata, May 6, 1926.
