ADVICE ON MATRIMONY.

Sir, —Your correspondence on " Advice on Matrimony " is most interesting, bitt has anyone ever,, thought that there is such a thing as the true " a (Unity " necessary to make the real happy marriage. No advice bureau would fill the purpose, for who, contemplating marriage, like the public eye cast upon them and their doubts. Rather do they seek secrecy—and hurry over it lest their heart fails to having the advice of a third party. If each and every one who thought seriously of future happiness, married only, one whose birth month was in " affinity " with their own, there would be far less " appealing to the courts," or of mutual separation. How is it possible for the woman born under the wearing sign of " Pisces," to find true companionship with the " Scorpio " man, or how is the " Leo " man to know his best' mate is the plodding "Aries" woman? Surely it has been proved that as the heavens affect animal and agricultural life, so it stands to reason that it does and will affect the human being. But who will stay to think of the future ahead in these days of bustle and hurry ? How often after the first few months, sometimes only vwH, do you see the real character op«u» a different to what was expected, and gradually it dawns upon the interested parties that they have no " affinity " with each other and life is to be a make believe, instead of true happiness, and consequently drift apart, very much like the hen that brought off the batch, of ducklings—" vastly disappointed." 1 Viola Moore.
