movement in waikato. [BIT TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] HAMILTON. Thursday. The Waikato Farmers' Union to-day-gave favourable consideration to the scheme of the North Island Dairy Companies Co-operative Society for the marketin"- of pigs. The meeting was addressed by Mr. Lindsay Gardner, who outlined the work and general conditions of the organisation. It was, he said, essentially a dairy companies movement. Shipments fowarded last year had,been most satisfactory, and tiie prices in the district had been stimulated by Id to l£d a lb. The union decided to hold a central conference of the Waikato dairy companies to discuss the matter and to hold meetings throughout the district.
