OBITUARY.

MRS. T. E. SINEL. Mrs. T. E. Sinel, who died recently at her residence in Grey Lynn, was the wife of Mr. T. E. Sinel, well-known fn' shipping circles for the past 45 years. The deceased was born in Auckland 70 years ago, and the fourth daughter of the late John and Margaret Motion, early pioneers, who arrived by the Joseph Fletcher. Mrs. Sinel is survived by her husband, daughter, eight sons, 16' grandchildren and one great grandchild. ' Sis sons and one grandson of the Late-Mrs.' - Sinel served during the European War, MRS. THOMAS BARN A BY. Mrs. Thomas Barnaby, an old resident of Auckland, who died recently, was born at Sunderland 83 years ago and arrived in New Zealand on the ship William Watson on February 8, 1359. She married the late Mr. T. Barnaby at Auckland andwent to -Napier, .where her husband was gaoler during the time that Sir Donald McLean was superintendent of the- province.
