BAND'S ANNUAL MEETING. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] CAMBRIDGE. Tuesday The annual meeting of the Municipal Band was held last evening, Mr. E. Yeale presiding. The balance-sheet showed a credit of £25 10s 6(1, with assets valued at £793 10s 2d, and liabilities nil. The election of officers resulted Patron, Mr. D. Stewart Reed, M.P. ; president, Mr. i. F. Richards; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. E. Voale, T. A. Hicks, E. B. Cox, W. Richmond, F. Lye, and F. Mack; secretary and treasurer, .Air. W. Wool ley; auditor, Mr. W. Milburn ; citizens' representatives, Messrs. W. White and S. Lewis. It has been decided to organise a class in Cambridge undei the auspices of the Workers' Educational Association. It is anticipated that the class will open with a membership of about 50. It is hoped to obtain tlu> assistance of Messrs. N. M. Richmond, 8.A., of Auckland, M. N. l'emberton, M.A., of Hamilton, aii'd L. A. .Mander, 15. A., director of the association, as tutors.
