DISTURBANCE IN PARIS. THIRTEEN POLICEMEN HURT. MOB MOSTLY COMMUNISTS. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received 8.35 p.m.) Renter. PARIS. April 14. Rioting occurred in Paris to-day in consequence of an attempt to make a demonstration by Civil Servants who are claiming a sliding scalo of salaries. A crowd of several hundred persons, most of whom were Communists, defied the prefectoral prohibition and tried to force a police barrier in order to raid the premises of the city electrical undertaking. Fighting thereupon ensued. Thirteen policemen were injured. Ihrce hundred arrests were made, but only two of those arrested were held in custody.
