MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.

Sir R. Heaton Rhodes, M.L.C., arrived from Wellington yesterday, and is at the Grand Hotel. He will be accorded a farewell dinner by the officers of the New Zealand Military Forces to-morrow evening to mark his retirement from the office of Minister of Defence. He will attend a meeting of the Toe H. movement in Auckland, and will, probably return to the South next Tuesday. Sir Maui Pomare, Minister in Charge of the Cook Islands, -who is shortly proceeding to the group in connection with the visit of the Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, will arrive in Auckland to-day.
