ACCIDENT AT WESTFIELD.

SCALDED BY BOILING BLOOD. INJURED MAN SUCCUMBS. Mr. Ralph Ryan, who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Thursday after; noon suffering from severe burns, succumbed to his injuries yesterday. Mr. Ryan, a married man, whose age was 28, and who resided at Mount Wellington Road, Panmure, met with a painful accident at the Westlield freezing works on Thursday when a quantity of boiling blood which ho was removing from a digester was percipitated over him. How the accident occurred is not definitely known. When the injured man was taken to tho hospital he was suffering from shock and severe burns and thero was little hopo for his recovery. An inquest will be opened this morning.
