The voting at the conference of the Australian Labour Party for the constitution of the new executive resulted in Mr. 'W. Seal being elected as president and Mr. W. Carey as secretary. The other positions on the executive were also filled by members of the coalitiofi, consisting of the formei executive and the industrial section, leaving the control of the Labour movement in the hands of those who have had charge for tho past two years and defeating the militant section of the party.
