OTOROHANGA ALMOST READY. [BY TELEGEAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.') OTOROHANGA. Friday. Over 700 concrete poles have now been made at the local works of the Waitomo Power Board, and these are being carted out as fast as seasoned to the various parts where electric power is in demand. The street lights are to be turned on within a fortnight, by which time the whole town will be ready for tho power Already applications for day-time power .are in. One of tho first to be supplied will be the Otorohanga Gravel Company. It has been decided to hold a public function 16 mark the turning on of the power.
