MARCH THROUGH CITY.
MOUNTED RIFLES REGIMENT. SALUTING BASE AT TOWN HALL. -Arrangements have been completed for the inarch through the city this afternoon of the Auckland Mounted Rifles Regiment, now encamped at tho Epsom Showgrounds. The route to the city will be as outlined in yesterday's Herald, but an alteration has been made in the homeward route. On leaving Upper Queen Street, the men will march by way of Symonds Street, Khyber Pass and Newmarket to the camp. The men are timed to reach the intersection of Customs Street and Queen Street at 2.30 p.m., and the march through the main portion of the city will occupy about 15 minutes. Tho saluting base will be at the Town Hall, where the salute will be taken by the Mayor, Mr. G. Baildon, and Colonel-Commandant H. R. Potter. Yesterday an inspection of the camp was made by Lieutenant-Colonel J. E. Duigan, D.5.0., N.Z.S.C., general stag officer of the Northern Command. The camp concludes at the week-end.
