INNOVATION IN SPORT.
RACES BETWEEN OSTRICHES. ADELAIDE TROTTING CLUB. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 9.5 p.m.) ADELAIDE, March 29. The Adelaide Trotting Club has decided to inaugurate ostrich racing at its meeting on Saturday. The club originally applied to the Royal Agricultural Society for permission to race the birds on its showground, but the society refused to grant the request.
