GIFT TO BOROUGH.

SECTION IN MOUNT EDEN. The gift of a section with a frontage of 85ft. to Mount Eden and Balmoral Roads, was accepted from Mrs. A. C. Ddy by the Mount Eden Borough Council last evening. The engineer, Mr. J. Rogers, said that the removal of large trees and the provision of seats would be necessary while fencing could be constructed by tneans of a rockery with a vertical face to the adjoining property. It was decided to forward a letter to Mrs. Ddy expressing the council's thanks for her generous action.
