PASTURES REQUIRING RAIN. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] NGARTJAWAHIA. Thursday. Tho farmers are wishing for rain, as the continued dry, windy weather is affecting the pastures. Settlers in the bush area toward the coast have taken advantage of the opportunity to burn off the felled bush, and the air has been laden with smoke lately.
