TO-DAY'S WEATHER. HERALD'S SPECIAL FORECAST. Tha following weather forecast for 24 hours from 7 a.m. to-day was supplied to us by Mr. H. M. Vincent last evening;— Fair to cloudy and warmer weather is indicated, with cloudiness increasing and rain following shortly, especially in western and southern districts. Winds variable, northerly to north-easterlies, moderate to strong, prevailing shortly. Seas moderate. Barometer, midnight, 30.10 in.; steady. GOVERNMENT REPORT. The Government meteorologist reported last opening as follows: —Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds prevailing and increasing; weather warm and sultry in coast districts, but changeable and squally generally elsewhere, with rain probable in districts with a westerly aspect.
