The Daily News says that a French airman, M Collizo, the holder of the world's altitude record of 39,586 ft., accompanied by a cinematographer, intends to make an air attack on Mount Everest. The flight will be attempted in a Bleriot machine, which has been specially designed and fitted to fly in thin air. The machine is equipped with oxygen for use at a height of over 25,000 ft. When M. Collizo reaches the required height he will dive toward the summit of the mountain, and drop a French flag. To this will lie attached a sealed tube containing an account of the flight.
