PRO-ITALIAN COALITION. SIR G. STRICKLAND'S ATTITUDE. (Received 5.5 p.m.) Sun ■ LONDON. Jan. 24. Sir Gerald Strickland, Conservative M.P. for Lancaster, who was reported to have joined the Labour Party in Malta, has denied the story in a telegram fo his English constituents. He says : " Neither I nor my party have joined the Maltese Labour Party. We have merely entered into a temporary agreement to oppose a coalition under proItalian leadership which desires to reimpose Italian education, whereas we are determined to retain British education."
