NEW ANGLICAN CHURCH. ✓ [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] RIVER HEAD, Monday. The new Anglican Church has been completed and furnished, and it is hoped to have the building dedicated by Archbishop Averill so soon as lie can conveniently arrange to perform the ceremony. Although there has been some correspondence in the Herald deprecating the action taken with a view to changing the name of the district to Forestdean, inquiries made indicate that the majority of the settlers are agreeable to the proposal, and consider the name a suitable one. The petition, forwarded through the chief postmaster at Auckland, contained upwards of 60 signatures. °
