GROCERY TRADE CONTEST.
FIRST MATCH OF SERIES. The first match this season, between the wholesale and retail grocers, took place oil the Mount Albert green yesterday afternoon, when the competitors were entertained by Mr. A. W. Page, president of the Grocers' Bowling Association, and Mrs. Page. On aacount of several of tho usual participants being away at the Dominion tournament in Dunediu, the match had to bo limited to three rinks, with the following results, wholesale names first:—Mars, Bayley, Dickson, Fraser, 26. v.
