Heavy rain overnight had mado tho turf excellent for play, but tho morning was boisterous, a heavy southerly thoroughly testing the competitors. The final of tho championship, won by T. It. Horton. provided a keen contest, Drake, his opponent, making a splendid recovery after being fivo down at the seventh. Horton won, 4 and 2.
