GOLF TOURNAMENT.
THE FINAL AT MIRAMAR. [PY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Sunday. The final day of the Miramar golf tournament was characterised by some splendid play under difficult conditions. Heavy rain overnight had mado tho turf excellent for play, but tho morning was boisterous, a heavy southerly thoroughly testing the competitors. The final of tho championship, won by T. It. Horton. provided a keen contest, Drake, his opponent, making a splendid recovery after being fivo down at the seventh. Horton won, 4 and 2.
