'l'hero was a gratifying attendance at the fif'ty-rLith. annual sports and highland earned conducted by tho Waipu Caledonian Society at Waipu. The arrangements generally Vicro excellent. The dancing was "of a high standard. Miss Cf. MacNaushton \von B&ven events of the' eight in which she competed. including the championship in the «word danco for ifirls under 18 and the Bailor's hornpipe champiocship for girls itnder 16.
