CHRISTIAN CONVENTION.

CAMP AT NGARUAWAHIA. Tho Uniteid Christian Convention, now in progress at Ngaruawahia, is the second of its kind held in New Zealand. Most of those attending it are comfortably housed in tents, and practically nil the Protestant, denominations are represented. Some of tho campers are from as far south as Wanganui, and two Salvation Army officers from Christchurch aro among tho speakers. Bible studies are taken by the Rev. H. G. Hercus, of Hamilton, and a series of addresses oiti " The Indwelling Spirit " has been given by the Rev. E. R. Harries, nf Auckland. The Revs. Edward Drake and Athelstan Goold, Mrs. J. M. Saunders, Sister Jessie, and Adjutant Gill Inglis have also addressed the convention. It has been decided to invito as chief speaker for next year the Rev. Dr. G. £. Weeks, formerly dean of Nelson, and now head of Trinity Diocesan School; Sydney.
