BURNED TO DEATH.
DESTRUCTION OF FARMHOUSE MAN PERISHES IN FLAMES. [by telegraph.—press association.] INVERCARGILIi. Thursday. The farmhouse of Mr. Arthur Blondell, at Waimatua, was destroyed by fire this morning, and Mr. William Henry King, farm iabourer, a single man, aged 28, was burned to death. , The deceased complained yesterday of being unwell, and when called to tho milking this morning he answered, but did not get up. Mr. Blondell milked several cows, and then went toward the house to see what was tho matter with King. He found the house ablaze, and the flames most fierce near, Mr. King's room.
Mr. Blondell managed to get his children out, but Mr. King perished.
