AUCKLAND ACCIDENTS.
FALL OF FIFTEEN FEET. SEAMAN SEVERELY INJURED. Severe injuries to the head were received by Mr. Walter Evans, an able seaman on the Kaituna, who fell 15ft. down the bold of the vessel last evening. He landed on some coal and owing to the Fact that the winches were not working the greatest difficulty was experienced in getting him out. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital and. early this morning his condition was reported to be fair. Mrs. N. Lyall, of Watson Avenue, Edendale, slipped off some rocks at Milford yesterday morning, fracturing an arm and cutting and bruising her forehead. She was admitted to the hospital and her condition is not considered serious.
While riding a motor-cycle on Thursday afternoon, Mr. Joseph Franks, aged about 20, who resides in Hays Road, Mount Roskill was knocked down by a motor-car. He was taken to the hospital suffering from concussion and tho authorities reported early this morning that his condition was satisfactory.
