UPJOHN FRAUD CHARGES.
GOODS GOT IN AUCKLAND. THEFT OF A LEATHER BAG. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, Thursday. Herbert William Wellington Upjohn, .already awaiting sentence on several charges of fraud, pleaded guilty in ths Police Court to-day to a charge of stealing a typewriter, valued at £22, from Hobday and Company, of Auckland, obtaining sports goods, valued at £5 10s, from Frank Wiseman, of Auckland, and clothing valued at fi 1 ! Is from E. C. Brown, of Auckland, uy representing that he was connected with the Daily Mail; also with stealing a leather bag valued at £i 10s from Francis King. He was remanded for sentence for these offences until after he has been sentenced on other charges.
