CONFERENCE IN LONDON

Australian and N.Z. Cable As-ociation. (Reed. 10 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 22. The Prime Minister, Mr. Baldwin, had & conference regarding the Irak situation with the Turkish Ambassador to-day. It is unlikely that there will be any formal negotiations until the return from the Continent of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sir Austen Chamberlain.

A message from San Remo, Italy, states that although Sir Austen Chamberlain insists that he is on a holiday the newspapers state that he is having interviews at Rapallo with a number of foreign politicians, including the Turkish representative.
