EIGHT TENDERS FOR WORK.

[by telegraph. —own correspondent.] OPOTIICI, Wednesday. The Opotiki County Council received eight tenders for the erection of the new Waioeka bridge in concrete. The tenders ranged from slightly under £29,000 to £31,000.

No tender was actually accepted as they the subject to confirmation by the Public Works Department.
