CAR AND GARAGE BURNED.
RESULT OF A BACK-FIRE. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] TUAKATT, Wednesday. A motor-car and garage owned by Mr. W. J. Deeble, of Tuakau, was destroyed by fire yesterday. It appears that Mr. Deeble had started the engine and was preparing to take the. car out when a back-fire occurred. The car burst into flames and Mr. Deeble was unable to suppress them. It is understood that the car was insured.
