TEAMS FOR SATURDAY. The following will represent the Edendale Bowling Club in the jTiatch for the Mackay Shirs on Saturday:—Eluck, Ritchie, Bleakley, C. Die. Avondnle v. Takapuna.—At Takapuna: Adams, "VVitham, Johnson, Dodge; Gilbert, Tomlinscn. Beaton, Dyson. At Avondale: Jones. Suthei'laud, Kelsall. Sommervell; X unns, Brookes, Pcrritt. Pooley. The following team will represent Avondale in the match against the English howlers on December 24:—Trigg, Witham, Dyson, Dodge. DENNISQX PINS. A team representing the Auckland Bowling Club (Lyall, Mr.ckay, Scantlebury, Parker) played the holders of the Dentiison Pins (Ridings, Garrard, Blanchard, Mrßobie), on the Remueva green yesterday. The play was even for the first half, but the holders then forged ahead, and won by 29 points to 15. ST. HELIER'S TOURNAMENT. A pairs tournament was held by the St. Helicrs Bowling Club yesterday. 16 teams competing. The winners were J. F. Hosking and W. H. Murray (West End), with six wins. Livingstone and W. Knight. Walker and Burke, and Bainbridge and Vivian each had five wins.
