THE AUCKLAND HOSPITAL.
DR. MacEACHERN'S VISIT. PRAISE FOR INSTITUTION. A tribute to the Auckland Hospital was paid yesterday by Dr. Malcolm T. MacEachern, associate director of the American College of Surgeons and the greatest authority on hospital management in America. Dr. MacEachern, who. has come from America at the special invitation of the Victorian and New Zealand Governments, visited the hospital in the morning in company with I)r. C. E. " The wards are spacious and excellent accommodation is provided for the children. There is every modern facility for carrying out the work. The institution also seems to me to be very well run. At this stage I cannot make comparisons, but. I am looking forward to seeing more of the hospital when I return from Australia." Dr. MacEachern left for Sydney by the Aorangi last evening and after his investigations in Victoria will return to New Zealand next February.
