THE FREEZING SEASON.
POVERTY BAY STOCK. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] CIS BORNE, Monday. Contrary to expectations the stock which is coming forward for the Poverty Hay Freezing Works at present is in good condition. Lambs equally as good as those of last season aro being killed.
Most of the fat stock so far has come from the flats and places at no great distance from Gisborne. The lambs in the back country are coming oil well arui some good "cuts" should be got away before the end of the month.
