Nov. b\ At the urgent request of a very large number of overseas producers and men of affairs, in England for the exhibition last year, it was decided to present to Mr. L. S. Amery, Secretary for Dominion Affairs, a portrait of himself, by Sir Luke Fildes, R.A., in token of the confidence and regard which is repossd in him by the producers of the overseas Empire. This portrait has been on exhibition at the Royal Academy, and is now at the Liverpool Art Exhibition, Immediately it is returned an early opportunity will be taken to present it to Mr. Amery in the name of a wide circle of his admirers representing every branch of distinguished political and economic activity throughout the Empire.
