VISITING ATHLETES.
THE TWO AMERICANS., [BY telegraph.—press association.] WELLINGTON, Monday . Exception was taken at a meeting of the council of the New Zealand Amateur Association to the American Association cabling to the Australian Association regarding the tour of Hahn and Scholz. The cable which approved the tour provisionally on compliance with the international rule governing expenses was forwarded to New Zealand by the Australian Union. It was stated that the mistake should not have been made for the reason that New Zealand was registered separately in the International Union, federated separately to the Amateur'' Athletic Federation and entered as a separate nation in the Olympic Games. The meeting decided to inform the United States of the facts. Scholz left San Francisco on November 25 to join 3?ahn at Honolulu. They will arrive at Auckland on January 4.
