HERALD'S SPECIAL FORECAST.
The following weather forecast for 24 hours from 7 a.m. to-day' was supplied to us by Mr. 11. M. Vincent last evening: —Fair to cloudy weather is indicated, but with cloudiness increasing, for chango to fcliov shortly. Westerly wirds, moderate l'j strong, veering by uorcn to east, then freshening. A tropical disturbance is developing north-westward of the Dominion, and will shortly result in stormy weather, with heavy general rains. Seas increasing on east coast after about 24 hours. Barometer, midnight, 30.45 in.; steady. GOVERNMENT REPORT. The Government meteorologist reported last evening that the indications were for strong north-west to south-west winds, and changeable, squally weather generally, ram in districts with a westerly aspect.
