SERIES OF ACCIDENTS.
FALL FROM MOTOR-CYCLE, INJURED BY EXPLOSION. As a result of head injuries sustained in a fall from a inotor-cycle, Mr. F. H. Morton, musician, of Bell Road, Remuera, was taken to the Auckland Hospital yesterday morning in an unconscious condition. He has not yet been able to give any coherent account of how the accident occurred, but he boarded a Great South Road tram shortly afterwards, and then collapsed. He was apparently carried to the terminus and placed by the conductor in a grocer's shop. A doctor was subsequently summoned and the injured man taken to the hospital in an ambulance. A young seaman on the Matangi, Roy Douglas Watte, fell down some steps on the vessel early last evening, sustaining concussion and "injuries to his spine. He was admitted to the hospital, where, at a late hour last night, his condition w<v3 reported to be serious. His relatives reside at No. 5, Chester Avenue, Grey Lynn. Another accident occurred at Onehunga when a married qnarryman, Mark Dracevich, residing at 37, Albert Road, Onehunga, sustained injuries to his face and arms as the result of an explosion in a quarry, where he was blasting. He was admitted to the hospital, and his condition last evening was regarded as satisfactory.
