CAPTAIN MURDOCK McDONALD DEATH FROM HIS WOUND. [by telegraph.—press association.] WHANGAREI. Friday. A cablegram received from relatives in Melbourne announces the death of Captain Murdock McDonald, aged 70, of Waipu, tVhiie trading between India and China Captain McDonald was stabbed by one of a crew of blacks and died from the effects of his wound. Ho was a brother of Captain Colin McDonald and Mr. John McDonald, of Tikipunga, Whangarci.
