CANADIAN EXPLORER SAILED. Advice has been received that the Can a - dian Government steainer Canadian Explorer kit Montreal on October 29 for Auckland and other New Zealand ports. The vessel, I which is proceeding via Panama, is due at Auckland about December 15. OMANA FROM TAURANGA. The Unin Line steamer Trematon which is expected at Auckland from New York any day now, had not notified the local agents, the New Zealand Shipping Company, yesterday, what time she expects to make port. Henderson and Macfarlane advise that the Swayne and Hoyte Line steamer West Nivaria is due to leave Sail Francisco on December 1 for Auckland, Wellington and Timaru. She is due at Auckland about December 28. MATANGI DFLAYED. The Northern Company's steamer Matnngi was delayed for an hour last evening and did not leave for Tauranga until 8.15 p.m. The crew refused to take the ship to sea because they . declared that a substitute found for a sick member was not a unionist. Another man was eventually provided and the vessel sailed at 8.15 p.m. KAIWARRA AT NEWCASTLE. _ The Kaiwarra. which left Auckland last Saturday, arrived at Newcastle yesterday and will load for New Zealand. CA NA DI AN PROSPECTOR. It is expected to despatch the Canadian Government steamer Canadian ' Prospector from Wellington to Auckland this evening, and she should arrivo here on Monday to fill up. She is due to sail finally for tho United States and Canada on Tuesday. On arrival at Auckland she will berth at King's Wharf. TROUBLE ON MAHENO. Just prior to the departure of the Maheno from Sydney for Wellington yesterday morning trouble occurred with the firemoti, who refused to take the vessel to sets.. The Muher.o was towed to an anchorage in Rose Bay, and her departure postponed indefinitely. KAIRANGA A' 'FLINGTON. An arrival at Wellington on Wednesday was the Union Company's sleamer Kairanga from Newcastle. The vessel left Newcastle on October 29 and experienced fine weather on the trip across. After a rough trip of 2-1 days,_ the scow Maroro arrived at Sydney from Gisborne on October 24 and was towed to an anchorage in Johnston's Bay.
