DIFFERENCE IN A SCHOOL.
CHRIST'S COLLEGE DISPUTE.
MR. DENNISTON RESIGNS.

As the outcome of a disagreement with the headmaster, the Bev. E. G. Crosse, a well-known member of the teaching staff of Christ's College, Mr. J. G. Denniston, has handed his resignation to the Board of Governors. It is stateci that the trouble which has arisen, and which concerns a question of policy, formed tho subject, of a meeting of masters at which an attitude was taken up that was critical of Mr. Crosse.
Ms*. Denniston, who is a son of the lat-e Sir John Denniston, had a distinguished career as a pupil at the college. He held a commission in King Edward's Horse in the war ard graduated as Master of Arts at Cambridge University, being a barrister-at-law of the Inner Temple, London.
