Mr. Gerald Marcuse, whose sign call is 2NM, situated in Surrey, England, carried on long conversations with U.S.S. Seattle when the vessel was lying in Wellington Harbour. The conversations were carried on in daylight. Mr. Marcuse maintained good communication on a wave length of 45 metres. The conversation with the commander was heard at Buenos Aires.
