The Wanaka arrived at- Lyttelton yesterday morning and is expected to sail to-day for Oamaru, Dunedin and Bluff. The Kairoana-wa arrired at Napier early yesterday morning with coal from Westport. She is expected to leave Napier tomorrow fox - Auckland. The Katoa was expected to leave Wellington at- S p.m. yesterday for Auckland direct. She is due here on Sunday mornlag and will berth at the Prince's Wharf. After discharge of her cargo she will return to Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and . Timaru. WEST CALERA SAILING TO-DAY. The Swayne and Hoyte Line steamer 'West Calera, which is discharging cargo from Pacific Coast ports at the Central Wharf, is timed to sail at 1 p.m. to-day for Dunedin and Sydney to put out the remainder. THE PENMORVAH. It is hoped to despatch the Penmorvah ■to-morrow .for Newcastle. The vessel has been discharging a cargo of phosphates at the King's Wharf. After bunkering at Newcastle she is to . proceed .to Nauru Island to load a cargo of phosphates for Australia. WHANGAPE EXPECTED TO-MORROW. The Union Company's steamer Whangape, ■which left Newcastle with a cargo of coal on Saturday, is expected to arrive hers at .daylight to-morrow. She will berth at the Western Wharf. THE PORT BOWE-N. Heather Roberton. Ltd., advise that the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Bowen left Liverpool for Auckland on October 10 with cargo from Glasgow and Liverpool. The vessel is duo here about November 19. THE TREFUSIS. Cargo operations were delayed by rain yesterday on the _ Ham steamer Trefusis, ■which is discharging New York cargo at the King's Wharf, and it is not expected that she will be ready to leave for Wellington and the South before Tuesday. TAMA HI Nil LEAVES ENGLAND. Advice has been received by the Union Company that the Taniahine, the new _passenger steamer for the Wellingt-on-Picton service, which has been built at New-castle-on-Tyne, sailed- from England on October 18 for Wellington, via Panama. She will arrive at Wellington about the end vi November. CORINTHIC REACHES WELLINGTON. Trio Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Corinthic arrived at Wellington ygsterday morning from London and Southampton ■with passengers and.cargo for New Zealand. She berthed at 11. a.m. Passengers for Auckland are expected to arrive here by train this morning and to-morrow morning. The steamer is duo here early next week to put out the Auckland portion of her cargo. Passengers' baggage was to be placed on board the Katoa leaving Wellington for Auckland last evening. AORANGI DUE ON MONDAY. The Royal Mail liner Aorangi is to leave Sydney this morning for Auckland and Vancouver. The vessel is due here on Monday, afternoon and will berth at Queen's Wharf to land passengers and mails and discharge the \ Auckland portion of her cargo. After embarking passengers from this port and taking in mails and cargo, she will sail at 3 p.m. on Tuesday ill continuation of her voyage to Suva, Honolulu fejid Vancouver. C, Tatton, Charles Bailey and Rutherford, She is fitted with a 140 h.p. FairbanksMorse four-cylinder Diesel engine, which is reported to be running perfectly. NORTHERN COMPANY'S VESSELS. The rough weather off the coast yesterday has delayed several of the Northern Company's vessels. The Kavvau was obliged to take shelter at T.i Point. Her departure from Auckland for Warkworih to-day has consequently been postponed from 7.15 a.m. Until 2 p.m. t The W a iota hi was delayed in the North. Instead of leaving Auckland on Monday for liercury Bay, as previously scheduled, she will sail at 6' p.m. on Tuesday. Other vessels delayed are the Otimai and !~e Mom, which were sheltering on the coast ivsterday.

THE RONA SAILED. The Colonial Sugar Company's steamer Rona, sailed yesterday afternoon for Fiji to load another cargo of raw sugar. THE RARAWA'S SURVEY. It is expected that the Rarawa's survey will be completed in time to enable her to resume running in the Onehunga-New Plymouth service early next month. , In the meantime the service is being continued by the Ngapuhi. LABOUR DAY HOLIDAY. Monday being Labour Day, the waterside workers will observe their usual holiday and no work will be done on the waterfront, THE KAIWARRA ARRIVED. The Union Company's steamer Kaiwarra arrived last evening from Newcastle. She will commence discharging a cargo of coal at Central Vv harf this morning. SUTTON HALL LEAVES NORFOLK. The A. and A. Line steamer Sutton Ball is reported by cablegram to have left Norfolk on Wednesday for Auckland. Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. The vessel is duo here about November 25.
